Finiteness of simple homotopy types up to s-cobordism of aspherical 4-manifolds

In this paper we show that for a class Formula of 4-manifolds each member of Formula has only finitely many simple homotopy type up to s-cobordism. This result generalizes a similar result of Hillman for certain complex surfaces. We also present a correction in the proof of Hillman's result.
