Duality of D-modules on flag manifolds

Daniel Barlet and Masaki Kashiwara

We shall give the duality of D-modules on the flag manifold, which corresponds to the duality of Harish-Chandra modules. This duality is not algebraic but analytic. As an application, we show that the characteristic variety of the dual of an arbitrary Harish- Chandra module is the complex conjugate of the original one.
